“See what great love the Father has lavished on us.”
Design Description:
Beautiful waves of colour in shades of purple, pink and red flow across this prophetic banner. But these aren’t just any waves… they’re tsunami size waves symbolising the extent of God’s love poured out for us!
The predominance of purple in this banner symbolizes the Kingship of our God. Purple is also a combination of the colours red, which speaks of sacrifice and shed blood, and blue, which tells of faithfulness. The varying shades of colour symbolize the many dimensions and depths of God’s love - from His compassion for us to the deep and sacrificial agape love He demonstrated in Jesus’ death.
Significantly, this banner was birthed through a vision given before the tragic floods that swept through Australia and the devastating tsunami which crashed into the coast of Japan in 2010/2011. You can read more about this amazing story and the healing brought about by this banner in our Banner stories.

Bible Verses:
The themes of God’s kingly authority as well as the degree of His love and compassion for us are repeated throughout Scripture. In 1 Timothy 6:15 we read that God is “the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords”, while Revelation 17:14 tells of a time when the Lamb will triumph because "he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers." We are also told that on his “robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16).
God’s immense love for us is demonstrated most fully in the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus (John 3:16 and Galatians 2:20). We are told that love comes from God (1 John 4:7) and as God’s chosen people, who are "holy and dearly loved", we should ourselves demonstrate this love through compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience (Colossians 3:12).
