Johns's Banner Story

It was a lovely experience for me as an amateur dancer to attend the International Christian Dance Fellowship conference in Dallas. It was wonderful to have fellowship with dancers from all over the world and see such a great variety of powerful dances.

The greatest blessing for me was to attend your seminar. I appreciated your simple and practical lessons very much. It was very encouraging to find out that I could also do spontaneous dances with flags. To be part of a group using flags, where we all followed your movements, was a very powerful experience.

Since coming home from Dallas I have attended and danced at a renewal conference within the Lutheran church in Sweden together with Kristina and other dancers from the Swedish Christian Dance Fellowship. While there I felt a desire to bring together others who were using flags and to lead the group as I had seen you do. On the last evening of the conference, we all lined up in front of the platform with our flags doing the same movements. It was beautiful and striking.
